Dalilah was US national champion in 2013, 2016 and 2017. Her Olympic gold in 2016, made her only the second female 400 meter hurdler in history to have won the Olympic and World titles and broken a world record.
Her most recent victory was gold in the U.S. championships in July 2019 and then the world Championships in Doha later that year. In these two events she set a new world record twice in succession.
On Wednesday August 4th, five years on from Rio, Dalilah is going for Olympic gold again. Stiff competition from younger atheletes has made this 400 metres hurdles final one of the most highly anticipated events in the Tokyo Olympics.
GOOD LUCK DALILAH!
